Privacy Policy

This policy explains what SideAll collects, how it is used, and how the Chrome extension handles third-party AI websites.

What SideAll Is

SideAll is a Chrome extension that opens supported third-party AI websites in the Chrome side panel. SideAll is not an AI model provider and does not sell access to AI models.

SideAll is an independent browser extension and is not affiliated with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta, DeepSeek, Mistral, or any other AI provider. SideAll does not sell AI model access. It provides a browser sidebar workspace for opening and switching between AI websites.

Information We Collect

  • Extension settings, selected websites, favorites, session token, user summary, and license state stored locally with chrome.storage.local.
  • Google profile information, such as email, name, verified email status, and Google account identifier, when you sign in for Premium licensing.
  • License, checkout, and webhook records needed to activate, verify, restore, or revoke SideAll Pro.
  • Basic server logs and security metadata, such as request time, status code, IP address, and user agent, when requests reach the SideAll API.
  • Payment status and customer/order identifiers from Creem. SideAll does not store full card numbers.

What We Do Not Collect

  • We do not collect browsing history by default.
  • We do not automatically collect page content, prompts, AI responses, or conversations from provider websites.
  • We do not sell user data.
  • We do not use user data for personalized advertising.
  • We do not inject affiliate links, shopping codes, or ads into pages.

Third-Party AI Websites

When you open ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Grok, DeepSeek, Mistral, Meta AI, or another supported destination inside SideAll, you are interacting directly with that third-party website. Your account, prompts, files, messages, and provider cookies are handled by that provider under its own terms and privacy policy.

SideAll may use narrowly scoped extension permissions, content scripts, and frame compatibility rules for supported provider pages so those websites can be opened from the side panel. These mechanisms are used for the extension's visible sidebar functionality, not to harvest conversations or browsing activity.

How We Use Information

  • To provide the SideAll sidebar workspace and remember local extension settings.
  • To verify Google sign-in and link a Premium license to the same Google account.
  • To create checkout sessions, process payment webhooks, and restore purchases.
  • To prevent abuse, debug operational issues, and protect the service.

Sharing

We share information only as needed to operate SideAll: Google verifies sign-in tokens, Creem processes checkout and payment events, infrastructure providers host the API and database, and third-party AI websites receive only the information you provide directly to them.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect SideAll, users, or the public from fraud, abuse, or security threats.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Security And Retention

Production API traffic uses HTTPS. Secrets are kept on the backend and are not bundled into the extension. Extension settings and SideAll session data are stored locally in Chrome storage.

We retain account, license, checkout, webhook, and operational records as long as needed to provide SideAll, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain accurate purchase history.

Your Choices

You can use SideAll Free without signing in. You can clear local extension data by removing the extension or clearing extension storage in Chrome. To request account or license data deletion, contact support@sideall.app.
